Seekh Kabab Paratha Bites

Ingredients:

  • Pyaz (Onion) 1 large
  • Beef mince (Qeema) ½ kg with 30 % fat (twice chopperize)
  • Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 tbs
  • Hari mirch (Green chilli) crushed 1 tbs
  • Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder ½ tsp
  • Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) ½ tbs or to taste
  • Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) 1 tsp
  • Zeera powder (Cumin powder) 1 tsp
  • Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
  • Breadcrumbs 4-5 tbs
  • Cooking oil 2 tsp
  • Paratha

Potato Salad

  • Aloo (Potatoes) boiled & cubes 1 Cup
  • Gajar (Carrots) cubed & boiled ½ Cup
  • Matar (Peas) boiled ½ Cup
  • Dill (Soya) chopped 1/4 Cup
  • Lehsan (Garlic) chopped 1 tsp
  • Mayonnaise ½ Cup
  • Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed ½ tsp
  • Namak (Salt) 1/4 tsp or to taste

Gravy:

  • Cooking oil 2 tbs
  • Makhan (Butter) 3 tbs
  • Tomato paste 2-3 tbs
  • Paprika powder ½ tsp
  • Chicken powder 1 tsp
  • Namak (Salt) 1/4 tsp or to taste
  • Pani (Water) 2-3 tbs or as required

Directions:

In bowl,grate onion and squeeze out excess water completely with the help of the hands.

In bowl,add beef mince,grated & squeeze onion,ginger garlic paste,green chilli,turmeric powder,garam masala powder,red chilli powder,black pepper powder,cumin powder,salt,breadcrumbs and mix well.

Grease hands with oil,take a mixture and make kabab (140 gms) of equal sizes on metal skewers (makes 5).

Option # 1:

Put skewers on burning charcoal and cook from all sides until done (approx. 5-6 minutes) and basting with oil.

Option # 2:

In frying pan,add cooking oil and fry kababs from all sides until done (approx. 5-6 minutes).

On paratha,place cooked kabab and roll,trim the ends and cut into wide slices then thread again on metal skewers and cook on burning charcoal or stove for 1-2 minutes & basting with oil.

Potato Salad:

In bowl,add potatoes,carrot,peas,soya,garlic,mayonnaise,black pepper crushed,salt and mix well.

Gravy:

In frying pan,add cooking oil,butter and let it melt.

Add tomato paste and mix well.

Add paprika powder,chicken powder,salt and mix well.

Add water,mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Assembling:

On serving dish,add potato salad,kabab pinwheels,prepared gravy and garnish with fresh coriander & serve!
