Ingredients:

Prepare Qeema Kabab:

  • Tamatar (Tomatoes) 4 large
  • Pyaz (Onions) 4 large
  • Beef qeema (Mince) 500g
  • Pyaz (Onion) chopped ½ Cup
  • Tamatar (Tomatoes) chopped ½ Cup
  • Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 tbs
  • Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
  • Zeera powder (Cumin powder) ½ tsp
  • Paprika powder 1 tsp
  • Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) 1 tsp
  • Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 tsp or to taste
  • Breadcrumbs 2 & ½ tbs
  • Anda (Egg) 1
  • Lemon juice 1 tbs
  • Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 1-2 tbs
  • Cooking oil 3-4 tbs

Prepare Yogurt Sauce:

  • Dahi (Yogurt) 1 Cup
  • Hari mirch (Green chillies) chopped 2-3
  • Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste
  • Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed ¼ tsp
  • Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 1 tbs

Directions:

Prepare Qeema Kabab:

Cut thick slices of tomatoes,remove its center part from each slice,chop finely & reserve for later use (approx. 1 Cup) & set aside tomato rings.

Cut thick slices of onion,remove center rings,chop finely & reserve for later use (approx. 1 Cup) & set aside onion rings.

In a bowl,add beef mince,reserved chopped onion ½ cup (reserve ½ Cup for yogurt sauce),reserved chopped tomatoes ½ cup (reserve ½ Cup for yogurt sauce),ginger garlic paste,salt,cumin powder, paprika powder,black pepper powder,red chilli powder,breadcrumbs,egg,lemon juice,fresh coriander,mix well & marinate for 2-3 hours.

Take a small quantity of mixture,fill in tomato & onion rings & press to make kababs (makes 16).

In a frying pan,heat cooking oil & fry kababs on low flame from both sides until golden brown (cover in between if required).

Prepare Yogurt Sauce:

In a bowl,add yogurt,reserved onion,reserved tomatoes,green chilli,salt,black pepper crushed,fresh coriander & whisk well.

Serve kababs with prepared yogurt sauce!
