Sheera (Syrup):

  • Cheeni (Sugar) ¾ Cup or to taste
  • Pani (Water) ½ Cup
  • Elaichi powder (Cardamom powder) 1 tsp
  • Ghee ¾ Cup
  • Baisan (Gram flour) sifted 2 Cups
  • Sooji (Semolina) ¼ Cup
  • Khoa ½ Cup
  • Pista (Pistachio) 8-10 & Badam (Almonds) 8-10


For Sheera (Syrup):

In saucepan,add sugar and water,mix well and cook until syrup thickens.

Add cardamom powder,mix well and set aside.

In pot,add ghee and let it melt,add gram flour and semolina,mix well and cook on low flame for 20-25 minutes and mix well continuously.

Add khoa and mix well.

Turn off the flame,add prepared sheera and mix well.

Add pistachio & almonds,mix well and serve.
