Quick & Simple Vegetable Lasagna (Baked & Air Fried)

After many requests for vegetable recipes we decided to make a quick and easy vegetable lasagna recipe for you with methods for Air frying and baking in one beautiful video. #HappyCookingToYou #FoodFusion

Ingredients:

Prepare Red sauce:

-Cooking oil 2 tbs

-Pyaz (White onion) chopped ½ Cup

-Lehsan (Garlic) chopped 1 tbs

-Tamatar (Tomato) pureed 2 Cups

-Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste

-Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) ½ tsp

-Dried oregano 1 tsp

-Sugar 1 tbs

-Dried basil 1 tsp

-Tomato paste 2-3 tbs

Prepare Vegetable White Sauce:

-Cooking oil 2 tbs

-Pyaz (White onion) chopped 1 Cup

-Gajar (Carrots) chopped ½ Cup

-Zucchini diced ½ Cup

-Corn kernels boiled ½ Cup

-Shimla mirch (Capsicum) chopped ½ Cup

-Cooking oil 1-2 tbs

-Makhan (Butter) 2-3 tbs

-Maida (All-purpose flour) 2 tbs

-Yakhni (Stock) 2 & ½ Cup Substitute: 2 stock cubes dissolved in 2 & ½ cup of water

-Cream ¾ Cup

-Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed 1 tsp

-Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste

-Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed 1 tsp

-Water as required

-Namak (Salt) 1 tbs

-Cooking oil 2 tbs

-Lasagna sheets 9-10

Assembling:

-Mozzarella cheese grated

-Cheddar cheese grated

-Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed

-Dried oregano

-Cherry tomatoes

 

Directions:

Prepare Red Sauce:

-In a saucepan,add cooking oil,white onion,garlic & sauté until translucent.

-Add pureed tomatoes,mix well & cook on high flame for 3-4 minutes.

-Add salt,black pepper powder,dried oregano,sugar,dried basil,tomato paste & mix well,cover & cook on low flame for 4-5 minutes & set aside.

Prepare Vegetable White Sauce:

-In a frying pan,add cooking oil,white onion & sauté until translucent.

-Add carrots,zucchini,corn kernels,capsicum,mix well & cook on high flame for 2-3 minutes & set aside.

-In a wok,add cooking oil,butter & let it melt.

-Add all-purpose flour,mix well & cook for a minute.

-Add stock,whisk well & bring it to boil.

-Turn off the flame,add cream,black pepper crushed,salt,red chilli crushed & whisk well to combine.

-Turn on the flame & cook until sauce thickens (2 minutes).

-Now add sauteed vegetables & mix well,cook for a minute & set aside.

-In boiling water,add salt,cooking oil & mix well.

-Add lasagna sheets & boil until half done (3 minutes),strain then rinse with water & set aside.

Assembling:

-In 10 x 6 inch baking dish,add & spread prepared red sauce,lasagna sheets,red sauce,prepared vegetable white sauce,mozzarella cheese,cheddar cheese,lasagna sheets,red sauce,vegetable white sauce,mozzarella cheese,cheddar cheese,lasagna sheets,red sauce,vegetable white sauce,mozzarella cheese,cheddar cheese,sprinkle red chilli crushed,dried oregano & garnish with cherry tomatoes.

Option # 1: Baking

-Bake in preheated oven at 180C for 18-20 minutes.

Option # 2: Air Fry

-Air fry at 180C for 8-10 minutes.
