Ingredients:

Chicken Patty:

  • Bran bread 1 slice
  • Doodh (Milk) Low fat ¼ Cup
  • Adrak (Ginger) 2 inch piece
  • Lehsan (Garlic) 5-6 cloves
  • Pyaz (Onion) 1 medium
  • Chicken boneless cubes 500g
  • Pink salt 1 tsp or to taste
  • Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed 1 tsp
  • Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed 1 tsp
  • Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) ½ tsp
  • Anda (Egg) 1
  • Podina (Mint leaves) chopped 2 tbs
  • Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 2-3 tbs
  • Lal mirch (Fresh red chilli) chopped 2
  • Hara pyaz (Green onion) leaves chopped 2 tbs
  • Olive oil 1 tbs

Oats Pancakes:

  • Instant oats 1 & ½ Cup
  • Chakki ka atta (Whole wheat flour) 2 tbs
  • Baking powder 2 tsp
  • Pink Salt ¼ tsp or to taste
  • Dahi (Yogurt) ¼ Cup
  • Anday (Eggs) 2
  • Doodh (Milk) low fat ½ Cup or as required
  • Olive oil 2 tsp

Yogurt & Vegetable Sauce:

  • Dahi (Yogurt) hung 1 Cup
  • Gajar (Carrots) grated 1 Cup
  • Kheera (Cucumber) grated & squeezed 1 medium
  • Pickled jalapenos chopped 2 tbs
  • Lemon juice 1 tbs
  • Paprika powder ½ tsp
  • Pink salt to taste
  • Iceberg
  • Tamatar (Tomato) slices
  • Pickled jalapenos
  • Black olives

Directions:

Chicken Patty:

In a chopper,add bran bread,milk,ginger,garlic,onion,chicken,salt,cumin seeds,red chilli crushed,black pepper powder,egg & chop until well combined.

Take out in a bowl, add mint leaves, fresh coriander, red chili, green onion leaves & mix well.

Grease hands with oil, take a mixture (90g), and make a patty of equal sizes (makes 8-9 patties).

In a frying pan, add olive oil and spread it, place prepared chicken patties, cover & cook on low flame until golden brown (2 minutes each side) & set aside.

Oats Pancakes:

In a spice mixer, add instant oats & grind to make a fine powder.

Take out in a bowl, add whole wheat flour, baking powder, pink salt & mix well.

Add yogurt, eggs and gradually add milk & whisk well until desired consistency (keep adding milk if mixture gets thicken).

Grease frying pan with olive oil, add ¼ cup of prepared batter, cover & cook on low flame for 1-2 minutes (makes 8 pancakes).

Yogurt & Vegetable Sauce:

In a bowl, add yogurt, carrots, cucumber, pickled jalapenos, lemon juice, paprika powder, pink salt and whisk well.

Assembling:

On oats pancake, add iceberg, tomato, chicken patty, yogurt & vegetable sauce and place another pancake on top.

Garnish with pickled jalapenos, black olives & serve!
