Cookie Dough Croissants

Ingredients:

-Brown sugar fine 1 Cup

-Bareek cheeni (Caster sugar) ½ Cup

-Makhan (Butter) melted ¾ Cup

-Anda (Egg) 1 (room temperature)

-Anday ki zardi (Egg yolk) 1 (room temperature)

-Vanilla essence 1 tsp

-Maida (All-purpose flour) 2 & ¼ Cups

-Himalayan pink salt ¼ tsp

-Baking soda ½ tsp

-Semi sweetened chocolate chips ¾ Cup

-Croissants as required

-Sugar powdered

 

Directions:

-In a bowl,add brown sugar,caster sugar,butter,egg,egg yolk,vanilla essence & mix well.

-Place a sieve on the bowl,add all-purpose flour,pink salt,baking soda,sift well then mix until dough is formed.

-Add chocolate chips,mix well & set aside.

-Cut croissants from the center,take a small portion of cookie dough,make a ball & flatten with the help of hands.

-Place cookie dough onto the bottom of the croissant then add some cookie dough on top & press gently.

-On baking tray lined with butter paper,place all croissants & bake in preheated oven at 170°C for 15 minutes (on both grills).

-Sprinkle sugar & serve (makes 6-7).
