Ingredients:
Prepare Red Sauce with Beef Mince:
-Tamatar (Tomatoes) blanched 500g
-Cooking oil 2 tbs
-Pyaz (Onion) 1 medium
-Lehsan (Garlic) chopped 1 tbs
-Beef qeema (Mince) 500g
-Tomato paste 3 tbs
-Dried oregano ½ tbs
-Paprika powder 2 tsp
-Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed 1 tsp
-Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed 1 tsp
-Himalayan pink salt 1 tsp or to taste
-Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 tsp or to taste
-Worcestershire sauce 3 tbs
-Fresh basil leaves chopped 2-3 tbs
Prepare White Sauce:
-Makhan (Butter) 80g
-Maida (All-purpose flour) ¼ Cup
-Doodh (Milk) 2 Cups
-Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed ¼ tsp
-Lehsan powder (Garlic powder) 1 tsp
-Himalayan pink salt ¼ tsp or to taste
-Jaifil powder (Nutmeg powder) ¼ tsp
-Chicken powder 1 tbs
-Lasagna sheets 10-12 (boil as per pack’s instruction)
-Fresh basil leaves chopped
-Mixed cheese (Mozzarella cheese 70% & Cheddar cheese 30%) as required
-Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed ¼ tsp
-Dried oregano
-Fresh basil leaves
Direction:
Prepare Red Sauce with Beef Mince:
-In a blending jar,add tomatoes,remove skin & blend well to make a puree & set aside.
-In a wok,add cooking oil,onion,garlic,mix well & sauté until translucent.
-Add beef mince & mix well until it changes color.
-Add tomato puree,tomato paste,dried oregano,paprika powder,cumin seeds,red chilli crushed,pink salt, red chilli powder,worcestershire sauce & mix well,cover & cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes.
-Add fresh basil leaves,mix well & set aside.
Prepare White Sauce:
-In a saucepan,add butter & let it melt.
-Add all-purpose flour,mix & cook on low flame for a minute.
-Add milk & whisk well.
-Add black pepper crushed,garlic powder,pink salt,nutmeg powder,chicken powder & mix well,bring it to boil & cook until it thickens & stir continuously.
-In a baking dish (9x9 inches),add red sauce,lasagna sheets,red sauce,fresh basil leaves,white sauce & mixed cheese.
-Sprinkle red chilli crushed & dried oregano.
-Bake in preheated oven at 200C for 20 minutes.
-Sprinkle fresh basil leaves & serve!
