Qeema Bun Sandwich

Ingredients:

-Cooking oil 2 tbs

-Beef qeema (Mince) hand chopped 500g

-Lehsan (Garlic) chopped 1 tbs
-Tomato paste 1 & ½ tbs
-Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed 1 tsp
-Himalayan pink salt 1 tsp or to taste
-Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed 1 tsp
-Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 tsp or to taste
-Dried oregano 1 tsp
-Soy sauce 2 tbs
-Lemon juice 1 tbs
-Water ¼ Cup or as required
-Cream 3 tbs
-Cheddar cheese grated ½ Cup
-Shimla mirch (Capsicum) cubes ½ Cup
-Pyaz (Onion) cubes ½ Cup
-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 1-2 tbs
-Burger buns 6
-Cheese slices 6
-Cheddar cheese grated as required

-Dried oregano

-Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed

-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped

 

Directions:
-In a wok,add cooking oil,beef mince & mix well until it changes color.
-Add garlic,mix well & cook for 1-2 minutes.
-Add tomato paste & mix well.
-Add black pepper crushed,pink salt,cumin seeds,red chilli powder,dried oregano,soy sauce,lemon juice, mix well & cook for 2-3 minutes.

-Add water & mix well,cover & cook on low flame for 8-10 minutes then cook on high flame until it dries up.

-Turn off the flame,add cream & mix well.
-Add cheddar cheese,capsicum,onion,fresh coriander,mix well & set aside.
-Cut burger buns in half & press inside with fingers to make a hollow cavity.
-Add cheese slice,beef filling,cheddar cheese,dried oregano & red chilli crushed (makes 12-14).

Option # 1: Baking

-Bake in preheated oven at 200C for 8-10 minutes.

Option # 2: Stove Cooking

-In frying pan,place qeema buns,cover & place preheated heat diffuser plate or tawa & cook on low flame until cheese melts (8-10 minutes).

-Sprinkle fresh coriander & serve with tomato ketchup.
