Loaded Mirchi Pakora

Ingredients:

Potato Filling:

-Aloo (Potatoes) boiled & cubes 3-4 medium

-Imli pulp (Tamarind pulp) 3-4 tbs

-Namak (Salt) ¼ tsp or to taste

-Lal mirch (Red chillies) crushed 1 tsp

-Chaat masala 1 tbs

-Kashmiri lal mirch powder (Kashmiri red chilli powder) ½ tsp

-Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed 1 tsp

-Sabut Dhania (Coriander seeds) crushed 1 tsp

Pakora mixture:

-Baisan (Gram flour) sifted 1 & ½ Cup

-Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) ½ tsp or to taste

-Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste

-Ajwain (Carom seeds) ½ tsp

-Baking soda ½ tsp

-Zarda ka rang (Orange food color) ¼ tsp

-Water ¾ Cup or as required

-Hari mirch (Green chillies) large 28-30

-Cooking oil for frying

-Chaat masala

-Hari mong daal (Whole green gram) boiled

-Pyaz (Onion) chopped

-Tamatar (Tomatoes) deseeded & chopped

-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped

-Chaat masala

-Dahi (Yogurt) whisked

-Nimco sev

-Lal micrh (Red chilli) crushed

 

Directions:

Prepare Potato filling:

-In a bowl add boiled potatoes & mash well with the help of masher.

-Add tamarind pulp, salt, red chilli crushed, chaat masala, Kashmiri red chilli powder, cumin seeds, coriander seeds & mix well then set aside.

Prepare Pakora mixture:

-In a bowl add gram flour, red chilli powder, salt, carom seeds, baking soda, orange food color & mix well.

-Gradually add water & whisk well to make thick batter (3-4 minutes),cover & then rest for 15-20 minutes.

-Make slit on green chillies & remove its seeds.

-Stuff prepared potato filling in green chillies & set aside (makes 28-30).

-Transfer prepared pakora mixture in a jug and dip stuffed green chillies in the batter.

-In a wok,heat cooking oil and fry on medium flame until golden brown.

-Sprinkle chaat masala & serve with ketchup or chilli garlic sauce.

-Cut mirchi pakora from center and place them on a serving plate. Add green lentil gram in it.

-Now add onion, tomatoes, fresh coriander, chaat masala, yogurt, nimco sev & red chilli crushed from top & serve!
