  • Lal mirch kuti huee (Red chili flakes) 1 tsp
  • Lemon zest ½ tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tsp
  • Cheeni (Sugar) 1 tsp
  • Hot sauce 2 tsp
  • Til ka tail (Sesame oil) 1 tsp
  • Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) ¼ tsp
  • Salt (Namak) 1-2 pinch
  • Tomato ketchup 3 tbs
  • Jheenge (Jumbo prawns) Tails attached, deveined & clean 500 gms
  • Maida (Flour) 1 tbs + Pani (Water) as required
  • Spring roll wrapper 8-10
  • Oil for deep frying

Sweet chili orange sauce

  • Lemon juice 1 tsp
  • Cheeni (Sugar) 1 tsp
  • Yakhni (Chicken stock) 2-3 tbs (Per desired consistency)
  • Chili garlic sauce ¼ cup
  • Orange juice ¼ cup


In bowl,add red chili flakes,lemon zest,lemon juice,sugar,hot sauce,sesame oil,black pepper powder,salt,tomato ketchup and mix.

Add prawns,mix well and marinate for 15-20 minutes.

Dissolve flour in water and set aside.

Take spring roll wrap and place prawn, slightly fold the sheet and roll the prawn and apply flour mixture.

In wok,heat oil and deep fry prawns.

For sweet chili orange sauce,in bowl,add lemon juice,sugar,chicken stock,chili garlic sauce and orange juice,mix well.

Firecrackers prawns are ready, serve with sweet chili orange sauce.
