Crispy Potato Rings

Ingredients:

-Aloo (Potatoes) boiled & cubes ½ kg

-Chawal ka atta (Rice flour) ½ Cup

-Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) ½ tsp

-Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed 1 tsp

-Namak (Salt) ½ tbs or to taste

-Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed ½ tsp

-Chaat masala ½ tsp

-Cornflour 3 tbs

-Adrak paste (Ginger paste) ½ tbs

-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped handful

-Cooking oil for frying

 

Directions:

-In a bowl,add potatoes & mash well with the help of the masher.

-Add rice flour,black pepper powder,cumin seeds,salt,red chilli crushed,chaat masala,cornflour, ginger paste & mix well.

-Add fresh coriander,mix well & let it rest for 15 minutes.

-Grease hands with cooking oil,take a large quantity of mixture & make a ball.

-Place on clean working surface (greased with cooking oil) & roll into cylindrical shape with the help of palm and cut into slices then cut into rings using cookie cutter.

-In a frying pan,heat cooking oil and fry potato rings on medium flame until golden.

-Serve with sauce or tomato ketchup.
