Creamy Beef Stuffed Wontons

Ingredients:

-Cooking oil 1-2 tbs

-Pyaz (Onion) chopped ½ Cup

-Lehsan (Garlic) chopped ½ tbs

-Mushrooms chopped ½ Cup

-Beef qeema (Mince) 250g

-Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste

-Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) ½ tsp

-Tomato paste 1 & ½ tbs

-Olper’s Cream ¾ Cup (room temperature)

-Lemon juice 2 tbs

-Fresh parsley chopped 1 tbs

-Maida (All-purpose flour) 1 tbs

-Water 1-2 tbs

-Wonton wraps as required

-Cooking oil for frying

 

Directions:

-In a frying pan,add cooking oil,onion,garlic & sauté until translucent.

-Add mushrooms,mix well & cook for 1-2 minutes.

-Add beef mince & mix well until it changes color.

-Add salt,black pepper powder,tomato paste & mix well,cover & cook on low flame for 6-8 minutes then cook on high flame until it dries up.

-Let it cool.

-In a bowl,add cream,lemon juice & mix well,cover & let it rest for 10 minutes.Sour cream is ready!

-Now add cooked mince,fresh parsley,mix well & set aside.

-In a bowl,add all-purpose flour,water & mix well.Flour slurry is ready!

-Take 3.5 x 3.5-inch wonton wrap,add prepared creamy beef filling in the center,apply flour slurry at all the edges,fold in triangular shape & seal all sides.

-Apply flour slurry on one corner of triangle & overlap to form wonton shape (makes 50-60).

-Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 1 month in freezer.

Option # 1: Fry

-In a wok,heat cooking oil & fry on medium flame until golden brown.

Option # 2: Air Fry

-Brush cooking oil on wontons & air fry in preheated air fryer at 180C for 6-8 minutes.

-Serve with dipping sauce!
