Lemon Tart (Egg less)

Ingredients:

Prepare Biscuit Base:

-Lemon sandwich biscuits 6-8 packs

-Makhan (Butter) melted 4-5 tbs

Prepare Lemon Curd Filling:

-Doodh (Milk) 1 Cup

-Condensed milk ⅓ Cup

-Lemon juice 3 & ½ tbs

-Cornflour 3 tbs

-Yellow food color 1 tsp or as required

-Makhan (Butter) 50g

-Whipping cream

-Lemon slice

-Podina (Mint leaf)

-Lemon sandwich

 

Directions:

Prepare Biscuit Tart Crust:

-In a chopper,add lemon sandwich biscuits & chop well.

-Add melted butter & chop until well combined.

-In 4” loose bottom tart shell,add biscuit mixture (3-4 tbs) & press firmly down into the base to create an even layer & freeze until set (30 minutes).

Prepare Lemon Curd Filling:

-In a saucepan,add milk,condensed milk,lemon juice,cornflour,yellow food color & whisk until well combined.

-Turn on the flame & cook on medium flame until it thickens while whisking continuously.

-Turn off the flame,add butter & whisk well until butter melts.

-Let it cool & transfer to a piping bag.

-Fill tart shells with prepared lemon curd filling.

-Remove tart shell carefully & garnish tarts with whipping cream,lemon slice,lemon sandwich biscuits,mint leaf & serve (makes 4-5 tarts)!
