Ingredients:
- Oil ½ cup
- Onion sliced 2 medium
- Bay leaf 1
- Cinnamon sticks 2
- Black pepper corn 7-8
- Cumin seeds 1tsp
- Cloves 5-6
- Black cardamom 2
- Ginger garlic paste 2tbs
- Tomato chopped 3-4 medium
- Salt 3tsp or to taste
- Red chili powder 2-3tsp or to taste
- Turmeric powder 1/2tsp
- Yogurt 1/2cup whisked
- Potatoes 2-3 large (half boiled)
- Green peas 1cup (half boiled)
- Water 2&1/2 cup or as needed
- Rice 500gms (soaked for 35-45 mins)
- Green chilies 3-4 or as per taste
- Fresh coriander 1/4cup
- Whole spice powder 1tsp
- Nutmeg & mace powder 1/2tsp
Directions:
In pot, add oil and onion,saute little.
Add bay leaf,cinnamom stick,black pepper corns,cumin,cloves and black cardamom,saute mix it.
Add ginger garlic paste and saute well.
Add tomatoes and give ita a good mix.
Add salt,red chili powder and turmeric powder,mix it
Now add yogurt and mix well.
Add potatoes (half boiled) and green peas (half boiled),mix it and add water,bring it to boil.
Add rice (soaked for 35-45 mins),mix it and cook on high flame until water dries up.
Add green chilies,fresh coriander,whole spice powder,nutmeg & mace powder, cover and simmer for 15minutes.
Serve.

- Dahi 1/2cup whisked
- Alaoo 2-3 large (half boiled)
- Matar 1cup (half boiled)
- Pani 2&1/2 cup or as needed
- Chawal 500gms (soaked for 35-45 mins)
- Hari mirch 3-4 or as per taste
- Hara dhania 1/4cup
- Garam masala powder 1tsp
- Jaifil javitri powder 1/2tsp
Directions:
Pot mein oil aur pyaz dal ker halka sa saute ker lein.
Tez paat,daar chini,kali mirch,zeera,laung aur badi elaichi dal ker mix ker lein.
Adrak lehsan paste dal ker saute karein.
Tamatar shamil karein aur ache tarhan mix kerlein.
Namak,lal mirch powder aur haldee dal ker mix karein.
Ab dahi shamil karein aur ache tarhan mix ker lein.
Aaloo (half boiled) aur matar (half boiled) dal dein aur pani shamil ker k ubal anay tak paka lein.
Ab is mein chawal (soaked for 35-45 mins) dal ker mix ker lein aur tez ancch per pani sukh janay tak paka lein.
Hari mirchein,hara dhania,garam masala powder,jaifil javitri powder dal ker,dhak k 15 minutes kliya dum per rakh dein.
