Ingredients:
- Aalo (Potatoes) 1 kg (peeled & cut in half)
- Water 2-3 Cups
- Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
- Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) ¼ tsp
- Cooking oil 4-5 tbs
- Pyaz (Onion) sliced 2 medium
- Zeera (Cumin seeds) 1 tsp
- Lehsan (Garlic) chopped 2 tbs
- Sukhi lal mirch (Dried red chillies) 6-8
- Dahi (Yogurt) whisked ½ Cup
- Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 & ½ tsp or to taste
- Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
- Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) 1 tsp
- Dhania powder (Coriander powder) 1 tsp
- Zeera powder (Cumin powder) 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder ½ tsp
- Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed 1 & ½ tsp
- Water ½ Cup or as required
- Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped
Directions:
In a pot,add potatoes,water,salt and turmeric powder,mix well & bring it to boil,cover & boil on medium flame until ¾th done then strain & set aside.
In a wok,add cooking oil,onion & fry until light golden.
Add cumin seeds,garlic,mix well & cook for a minute.
Add dried red chillies,mix well & cook for a minute.
Add yogurt,red chilli powder,salt,turmeric powder,coriander powder,cumin powder,garam masala powder,black pepper crushed,mix well & cook for 2 minutes.
Add water,mix well & bring it to boil.
Add boiled potatoes & mix well,cover & cook on low flame for 7-8 minutes then cook on high flame until oil separates (2 minutes).
Add fresh coriander.
Garnish with fresh coriander & serve with rice!

- Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed 1 & ½ tsp
- Water ½ Cup or as required
- Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped
Directions:
Pot mein aal,pani,namak aur haldi powder dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ubal anay ka bad dhak dein aur darmiyani ancch per 3/4th done hunay tak boil ker lein phir srain ker ka side per rakh dein.
Karahi mein cooking oil aur pyaz dal dein aur light golden hunay tak fry ker lein.
Zeera aur lehsan dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ek minute kliya paka lein.
Dried red chillies dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ek minute kliya paka lein.
Dahi,lal mirch powder,namak,haldi powder,dhania powder,zeera powder,garam masala powder aur kali mirch crushed dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 2 minutes kliya paka lein.
Pani dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ubal anay dein.
Boiled aalo dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur halki ancch per 7-8 minutes kliya paka lein phir tez ancch per oil alag ho janay tak paka lein (2 minutes).
Hara dhania dal dein.
Hara dhania sa garnish ker ka chawal ka saath serve karein!
