Ingredients:
-Bhunay chanay (Roasted grams) 2 tbs

-Khashkhash (Poppy seeds) washed & dried 1 & ½ tbs

-Pyaz (Onion) fried 6-7 medium

-Pyaz (Onion) 1 medium
-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) handful
-Boneless beef 500g
-Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 tbs

-Himalayan pink salt ½ tsp or to taste
-Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 tsp or to taste
-Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp

-Dhania powder (Coriander powder) 1 tsp
-Zeera powder (Cumin powder) ½ tsp
-Garam masala powder ½ tsp

-Dahi (Yogurt) ½ Cup

-Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 tbs

-Kashmiri lal mirch (Kashmiri red chilli) powder 1 tsp

-Dhania powder (Coriander powder) 1 tbs
-Himalayan pink salt 1 tsp or to taste

-Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) 1 tsp

-Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 tsp or to taste

-Zeera powder (Cumin powder) 1 tsp
-Cooking oil ½ Cup
-Hari elaichi (Green cardamom) 2-3

-Tez patta (Bay leaf) 1

-Sabut kali mirch (Black peppercorns) 8-10
-Laung (Cloves) 2
-Warm water 1 Cup or as required

-Hot water 1-2 Cups

-Hot water 1 Cup

-Aloo (Potatoes) 3-4 medium

-Garam masala powder ½ tsp
-Kewra water ½ tsp

-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 1-2 tbs

-Hari mirch (Green chilli) sliced

Direction:
-In a spice mixer,add roasted grams,poppy seeds,grind well & set aside.
-In a spice mixer,add fried onion,grind coarsely & set aside.
-In a chopper,add onion,fresh coriander & chop well.
-Add beef,powdered gram & poppy seeds,ginger garlic paste,pink salt,red chilli powder,turmeric powder,corinader powder,cumin powder,garam masala powder,fried onion paste (2 tbs) & chop well.
-Wet hand with water,take a mixture (50g) & make koftay of equal sizes (makes 12).

-In a bowl,add yogurt,remaining fried onion paste,ginger garlic paste,kashmiri red chilli powder,coriander powder,pink salt,turmeric powder,red chilli powder,cumin powder,whisk well & set aside.
-In a pot,add cooking oil,green cardamom,bay leaf,black peppercorns,cloves & mix well.

-Add spiced yogurt,mix well & cook for 1-2 minutes.
-Add warm water,mix well & cook on low flame until oil separates (4-5 minutes).
-Add hot water & mix well.

-Now add koftay,cover & cook on low flame for 5-6 minutes & stir gently in between.

-Add hot water,potatoes & stir,cover & cook on low flame until potatoes are tender (10-12 minutes).
-Add garam masala powder,kewra water & fresh coriander,cover & steam cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes.
-Garnish with green chilli & serve with naan.
