Tandoori Fish in Air fryer

Ingredients:

-Lehsan (Garlic) 6-7 cloves

-Hari mirch (Green chillies) 2

-Sabut dhania (Coriander seeds) ½ tbs

-Zeera (Cumin seeds) ½ tbs

-Ajwain (Carom seeds) ¼ tsp

-Kashmiri lal mirch (Kashmiri red chilli) powder) 2 tsp

-Chaat masala ½ tsp

-Garam masala powder ½ tsp

-Himalayan pink salt ½ tsp or to taste

-Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed 1 tsp

-Zarda ka rang (Orange food color) ¼ tsp

-Lemon juice 1 & ½ tbs

-Cooking oil 1 tbs

-Water 1-2 tbs

-Silver pomfret fish 3 pieces (375g)

-Lemon juice

 

Directions:

-In a mortal & pestle,add garlic,green chillies & pound to crush them.

-Add coriander seeds,cumin seeds,carom seeds & crush well.

-Add red chilli powder,chaat masala,garam masala powder,pink salt,red chilli crushed,orange food color, lemon juice,cooking oil & crush well.

-Add water,mix well & set aside.

-Remove the fins of pomfret fish & make deep cuts on both sides.

-Apply prepared marinade evenly & marinate for 30 minutes.

Option # 1:

-Place marinated fish in air fryer basket (place liner in air fryer basket) & air fry at 170°C for 15-18 minutes (turn sides in between).

Option # 2:

-Shallow fry or grill in pan from both sides until done.

-Drizzle lemon juice & serve with chutney!
