Pear Lemonade

-Pears 2 large

-Water 2 Cups

-Lemon juice 1/3 Cup

-Sugar ¾ Cup

-Kala namak (Black salt) 1 tsp

-Lemon zest 1 tsp

-Ice cubes

-Lemon & lime slices


-Podina (Mint leaves)



-Peel,deseed & cut pears into cubes.

-In a saucepan,add pears,water,lemon juice,sugar,black salt,lemon zest,mix well & bring it to boil,cover partially & cook on medium flame for 8-10 minutes.

-Turn off the flame & blend with the help of hand blender.

-Let it cool completely.

-Pear lemonade syrup can be stored in an airtight bottle for up to 2 weeks in refrigerator (yields: 600ml).

-In a serving glass,add ice cubes,lemon & lime slices,prepared pear lemonade syrup (1/4 Cup),7up & stir well.

-Decorate with mint leaves & serve!

-Makes 8-10 glasses.
