Hot Chocolate Milk Cake

Ingredients:

Prepare Cake:

-Anday (Eggs) 2

-Breek cheeni (Caster sugar) ¾ Cup

-Maida (All-purpose flour) 1 Cup

-Cocoa powder ¼ Cup

-Baking powder 1 tsp

-Baking soda ¼ tsp

-Himalayan pink salt 1 pinch

-Cooking oil 1/3 Cup

-Vanilla essence 1 tsp

-Doodh (Milk) warm ½ Cup

Prepare Hot Chocolate Milk:

-Doodh (Milk) 2 Cups

-Cocoa powder 3 tbs

-Cornflour 1 tbs

-Himalayan pink salt 1 pinch

-Sugar 1 & ½ tbs

-Instant coffee ½ tbs

-Vanilla essence ½ tsp

-Milk chocolate chopped 100g

-Chocolate grated

 

Directions:

Prepare Cake:

-In a bowl,add eggs,caster sugar & beat until mixture is foamy.

-Place a sieve on the bowl,add all-purpose flour,cocoa powder,baking powder,baking soda,pink salt & sift well.

-Add cooking oil,vanilla essence,milk & beat until just combined (don’t over beat the mixture).

-Pour batter on oven safe small bowls or ramekins.

-Bake in preheated oven at 180°C for 20-25 minutes or until skewer comes out clean (on lower grill).

-Let it cool at room temperature (makes 5-6 servings).

Prepare Hot Chocolate Milk:

-In a saucepan,add milk,cocoa powder,cornflour,pink salt,sugar,instant coffee,vanilla essence & whisk well.

-Add milk chocolate & mix well.

-Turn on the flame & cook on low flame until it thickens (6-8 minutes).

-Rest it for few minutes.

-Prick cake with the help of fork,pour prepared warm hot chocolate milk over the top of the cake & refrigerate for 2-4 hours.

-Garnish with grated chocolate & serve chilled!
