Coconut Chicken With Garlic Herb Rice

Ingredients:

  • Pani (Water) 3 Cups or as required
  • Coconut milk powder 50 gms (1 packet)
  • Chicken boneless cubes ½ kg
  • Hari mirch (Green chilies) whole 5-6
  • Lehsan paste (Garlic paste) 1 & ½ tsp
  • Adrak paste (Ginger paste) 1 tsp
  • Dhania powder (Coriander powder) 2 tsp
  • Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed 1 tsp
  • Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
  • Lal mirch (Red chili) crushed 1 & ½ tsp or to taste
  • Peanut butter 1 & ½ tbs
  • Oil ½ Cup
  • Cream 3-4 tbs
  • Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped
  • Adrak (Ginger) julienne
  • Hari mirch (Green chilies) julienne

Garlic Herb Rice

  • Oil 1 tbs
  • Makhan (Butter) 2-3 tbs
  • Lehsan (Garlic) chopped 1 & ½ tbs
  • Chawal (Rice) 1 & ½ Cups (soaked & boiled until ¾ th done)
  • Mixed herbs ½ tbs
  • Pani (Water) 2-3 tbs

Directions:

In pot,add water,coconut milk powder and whisk well.

Add chicken boneless cubes and mix well.

Add green chilies,garlic paste,ginger paste and mix well then switch on the flame and bring it to boil.

Cover and cook on medium flame until chicken is tender.

Add coriander powder,black pepper crushed salt,red chili crushed,mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add peanut butter and mix well.

Add oil,mix well and cook until oil separates.

Turn off the flame,add cream and mix well.

Turn on the flame and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add fresh coriander,ginger,green chilies & serve.

Garlic Herb Rice

In pot,add oil,butter and let it melt.

Add garlic and mix well.

Add rice and give it a good mix.

Add mixed herbs and mix well.

Sprinkle water,cover and simmer on low flame for 5 minutes.
