Prepare Toffee Sauce:

-Brown sugar ¾ Cup

-Cream ½ Cup

-Vanilla essence ¼ tsp

-Makhan (Butter) salted 30g

Prepare Date Pudding:

-Khajoor (Dates) Mejdool 12-13 deseeded

-Baking soda ¼ tsp

-Hot water ½ Cup

-Makhan (Butter) 100g (room temperature)

-Brown sugar ½ Cup (100g)

-Anday (Eggs) 2 (room temperature)

-Vanilla essence ½ tsp

-Maida (All-purpose flour) sifted 120g

-Elaichi powder (Cardamom powder) ¼ tsp

-Baking powder 1 tsp

-Jaifil (Nutmeg) grated 1 pinch

-Whipped cream

-Akhrot (Walnuts) chopped

-Mint leaf

 

Directions:

Prepare Toffee Sauce:

-In a saucepan,add brown sugar,cream,vanilla essence & butter.

-Turn on the flame,mix well & cook until sauce thickens & set aside.

Prepare Date Pudding:

-In a bowl,add dates,baking soda,hot water,mix well & soak for 15 minutes,blend well & set aside.

-In a bowl,add butter,brown sugar & blend well to combine.

-Add eggs one by one,vanilla essence & blend well.

-Add date puree & beat until well combined.

-Add all-purpose flour,cardamom powder,baking powder,nutmeg,fold until well combined & transfer to a piping bag.

-Grease ramekins with butter & pipe out prepared batter.

-Bake in preheated oven at 170C for 25 minutes or until skewer comes out clean.

-Poke holes with the help of skewer while its hot,pour prepared warm toffee sauce & leave it to soak for 10 minutes (makes 6).

-Serve it with cream or ice cream,walnuts,mint leaf & serve!
