  • Podina (Mint leaves) 1 & ½ bunch
  • Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) ½ bunch
  • Sabut kali mirch (Black peppercorns) 2 tsp
  • Namak (Salt) 1 tbs
  • Kala namak (Black salt) 1 & ½ tbs
  • Lehsan powder (Garlic powder) 1 & ½ tbs
  • Zeera (Cumin seeds) 1/3 Cup


In frying pan,add mint leaves,dry roast on very low flame until crisp & set aside.

In frying pan,add fresh coriander and dry roast on very low flame until crisp (approx.7-8 minutes) and set aside.

In frying pan,add black peppercorns,roast for 1 minute.

In spice mixer,add roasted black peppercorns,salt,black salt,garlic powder and grind to make a fine powder & set aside.

In frying pan,add cumin seeds,roast until changes color to slightly brown on low flame.

In mortal & pestle,add roasted cumin seeds and crush coarsely.

Now add ground spices and mix until well combined.

Add dried & crushed mint & coriander leaves and mix well.

Podina raita masala is ready!

Can be stored in air tight container for up to 2 months.
