  • Aloo (Potatoes) boiled & cubes 3-4 medium
  • Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
  • Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) ½ tsp or to taste
  • Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp
  • Chaat masala 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder ½ tsp
  • Chawal ka atta (Rice flour) 3 tbs
  • Breadcrumbs ¼ Cup or as required
  • Anday (Eggs) boiled 4-5
  • Cooking oil for frying
  • Pyaz (Onion) 2 medium
  • Tamatar (Tomatoes) 3 medium
  • Cooking oil ½ Cup
  • Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 tbs
  • Curry pata (Curry leaves) 8-10
  • Meethi dana (Fenugreek seeds) ½ tsp
  • Zeera (Cumin seeds) ½ tsp
  • Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
  • Lal mirch (Red chili) crushed ½ tsp
  • Paprika powder ½ tsp
  • Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp
  • Dhania powder (Coriander powder) ½ tsp
  • Chicken stock cube ½
  • Dahi (Yogurt) whisked 1 Cup
  • Pani (Water) ½ Cup or as required
  • Garam masala powder ½ tsp
  • Hari mirch (Green chili)
  • Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped


In bowl,add potatoes and mash well.

Add salt,red chili powder,turmeric powder,chaat masala,garam masala powder,rice flour and mix until well combined.

Add breadcrumbs and mix well (add more if batter is soft).

With wet hands,take a mixture,flat it on your palm then put boiled egg and coat it properly.

In wok,heat cooking oil and deep fry on low until golden brown then cut into two halves from center.

In chopper,add onion,tomatoes and chop well & set aside.

In frying pan,add cooking oil and ginger garlic paste,mix well.

Add curry leaves,fenugreek seeds and mix well.

Add cumin seeds and mix well.

Now add grinded onion+tomatoes,mix well and cook for 4-5 minutes.

Add salt,red chili crushed,paprika powder,turmeric powder and coriander powder,mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add chicken stock cube and mix well.

Add yogurt,mix well and cook for 5 minutes.

Add water and mix well.

Add garam masala powder,mix well and cook until oil separates.

Now add fried eggs kofta and garnish with green chili and fresh coriander & serve.
