Aam Doodh Ka Sharbat

Ingredients:

-Aam (Mangoes) cubes 3-4

-Doodh (Milk) 3 litres
-Sugar 1 Cup or to taste

-Badam (Almonds) sliced 2 & ½ tbs

-Pista (Pistachios) sliced 2 & ½ tbs 

-Elaichi powder (Cardamom powder) 1 & ½ tsp 

-Kewra water 1 tsp 

-Mango essence 1 tsp

-Rose petals as required 

-Tukh malanga (Basil seeds) 1 tbs  (Soaked in 3-4 tbs water)

-Ice (Crushed) as required

 

Direction:

-In a blending jar, add mango cubes and blend until a smooth puree forms.

-Let the puree chilled in the refrigerator or freezer.

-In a cooking pot, add milk, bring it to a boil.

-Cook on medium flame for 4-5 minutes.

-Add sugar, almonds, pistachios, green cardamom powder, mix well & cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes or until sugar dissolves.

-Turn off the flame

-Add kewra water, mango essence, mix well & let it cool completely.

-Add chilled mango puree, fresh rose petals, and soaked basil seeds, mix well.

-Add crushed ice, mix well, sharbat is ready.

Assembling:

-In a serving glass, add crushed ice, mango cubes, soaked basil seeds, pistachios, prepared sharbat, garnish with pistachios, rose petals & serve!
