Ingredients:

  • Kaju (Cashew nuts) soaked 10
  • Badam (Almonds) soaked & peeled 10
  • Pani (Water) 1 tbs or as required
  • Pyaz (Onion) 1 medium & Lehsan (Garlic) 3 cloves (boiled for 2-3 minutes)
  • Pani (Water) 1 tbs or as required
  • Makhan (Butter) 2 tbs
  • Darchini (Cinnamon stick) 1
  • Laung (Cloves) 4
  • Hari elaichi (Green cardamom) 3
  • Tez paat (Bay leaves) 2
  • Hari mirch (Green chilies) chopped 2
  • Pani (Water) 1 Cup or as required
  • Dahi (Yogurt) whisked ½ Cup (room temperature)
  • Baisan (Gram flour) roasted 1 tbs
  • Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) 1 tsp or to taste
  • Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
  • Safed mirch powder (White pepper powder) ½ tsp
  • Oil ¼ Cup
  • Chicken boneless cubes ½ kg
  • Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 tbs
  • Hari mirch (Green chilies) 2
  • Pani (Water) ½ Cup or as required
  • Adark (Ginger) julienne
  • Hara dhania (Fresh coriander)
  • Cream
  • Adark (Ginger) julienne
  • Hara dhania (Fresh coriander)

Directions:

In spice mixer,add cashew nuts,almonds and water,blend well & set aside.

In blender jar,add boiled onion and garlic,water and blend well & set aside.

In wok,add butter and let it melt,add cinnamon stick,cloves,green cardamom,bay leaves and mix well.

Add green chilies and mix well.

Add grinded onion mixture,mix well and cook for 5 minutes.

Add cashew+almond paste,mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add water,mix well and bring it to boil,cook for 2-3 minutes and take out in a bowl.

In yogurt,add gram flour,black pepper powder,salt,white pepper powder and whisk well.

In the same pot,add oil,chicken and mix well until changes color.

Add ginger garlic paste,mix well and fry until light golden.

Add green chilies and mix well.

Now add spiced yogurt and mix well for 2 minutes.

Cover and cook on low flame for 5 minutes then cook on high flame until oil separates.

Remove bay leaves from onion mixture,add it in pot and mix well.

Add water,mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add ginger and fresh coriander.

Garnish with cream,ginger,fresh coriander & serve.
