Ingredients:

-Water 2 Cups

-Chawal (Rice) basmati tota 1 Cup (soaked for 15 minutes)

-Zafran (Saffron strands) ¼ tsp

-Hari elaichi (Green cardamom) crushed ½ tsp

-Olper’s Milk 1 & ½ litre

-Badam (Almonds) peeled & sliced ¼ Cup

-Kewra water 1 tsp

-Milk powder ½ Cup

-Sugar ¾ Cup or to taste

-Khoya ¾ Cup

-Badam (Almonds) sliced

-Chandi warq (Edible silver leaf)

 

Direction:

-In a wok,add water,rice,saffron strands,green cardamom,mix well & bring it to boil,cover & cook on low flame for 15-20 minutes & stir in between.

-Turn off the flame & mash well with the help of masher.

-Add milk & mix well.

-Add almonds,kewra water,milk powder,turn on the flame,mix continuously & cook on low flame for 15-20 minutes.

-Add sugar,mix well & cook on low flame until it reduces to desired consistency (4-5 minutes),stir continuously

-Add khoya & mix well.

-Place wok on ice cubes & let it cool while whisking.

-In a serving dish,pour kheer & garnish with almonds & edible silver leaf.

-Refrigerate until chilled.
