Beef Chow mein

Ingredients:

  • Beef sirloin thinly sliced 250 gms
  • Oyster sauce ½ tbs
  • Soy sauce 1 tbs
  • Rice vinegar 1 & ½ tbs
  • Til ka tel (Sesame oil) ½ tsp
  • Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) 1 tsp
  • Cheeni (Sugar) ½ tbs
  • Stock ½ Cup
  • Soy sauce 1 tbs
  • Sirak (Vinegar) 1 tbs
  • Til ka tel (Sesame oil) ½ tsp
  • Safed mirch powder (White pepper powder) 1 tsp
  • Cheeni (Sugar) ½ tbs
  • Namak (Salt) ¼ tsp or to taste
  • Corn flour 2 tsp
  • Oil 3-4 tbs
  • Lehsan (Garlic) finely chopped 1 tbs
  • Adrak (Ginger) finely chopped ½ tbs
  • Mushrooms slices ½ Cup
  • Gajar (Carrot) julienne ½ Cup
  • Pyaz (Onion) sliced ½ Cup
  • Yellow bell pepper julienne ½ Cup
  • Shimla mirch (Capsicum) julienne ¼ Cup
  • Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed 1 tsp
  • Egg noodles boiled 150 gms
  • Hara pyaz (Green onion) leaves 2-3 tbs

Directions:

In bowl,add beef,oyster sauce,soy sauce,rice vinegar,sesame seeds,black pepper powder and sugar,mix well and marinate for 1-2 hours.

In bowl,add stock,soy sauce,vinegar,sesame oil,white pepper powder,sugar,salt and corn flour,mix well & set aside.

In wok,add oil,garlic,marinated beef and mix well until changes color.

Cover and cook on low flame for 6-8 minutes.

Add ginger,mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes then cook on high flame until dries up.

Add mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes.

Add carrot and mix well.

Add onion,yellow bell pepper,capsicum and mix well.

Now add prepared sauce and mix well.

Add black pepper crushed and mix well.

Add egg noodles and toss well.

Add green onion leaves,give it a good mix & serve.
