Pink Dahi Samosa Chaat

Ingredients:

Prepare Pink Yogurt Sauce:

-Water 2 Cups

-Chuqandar (Beetroot) diced ½ Cup (2 medium)

-Lehsan (Garlic) cloves 2-3

-Hari mirch (Green chillies) 2-3

-Dahi (Yogurt) whisked 1 Cup

-Zeera powder (Cumin powder) 1 tsp

-Kala namak (Black salt) ½ tsp

-Himalayan pink salt ½ tsp or to taste

Prepare Green Sauce (Hari Chutney):

-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) handful

-Podina (Mint leaves) handful

-Hari mirch (Green chillies) 4-5

-Lehsan (Garlic) cloves 3-4

-Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed 1 tsp

-Himalayan pink salt ½ tsp or to taste

-Chaat masala 1 tsp

-Lemon juice 3 tbs

-Ice cubes 5-6

-Water 2-3 tbs

Assembling:

-Dahi (Yogurt) whisked

-Aloo samosa 2

-Chanay (Chickpeas) boiled

-Pyaz (Onion) chopped

-Tamatar (Tomato) chopped

-Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed

-Chaat masala

-Nimco sev

 

Directions:

Prepare Pink Yogurt Sauce:

-In a saucepan,add water & bring it to boil.

-Add beetroot & boil on medium flame for 6-8 minutes then strain & let it cool.

-In a blender jug,add boiled beetroot,garlic,green chillies,yogurt,cumin powder,black salt,pink salt,blend well & set aside.

Prepare Green Sauce (Hari Chutney):

-In a blender jug,add fresh coriander,mint leaves,green chillies,garlic,cumin seeds,pink salt,chaat masala, lemon juice,ice cubes,water,blend well & set aside.

Assembling:

-In a serving plate,spread yogurt,break two aloo samosas & place them on yogurt.

-Add chickpeas,onion,tomato,sprinkle red chilli crushed,chaat masala,add yogurt,prepared pink yogurt sauce,prepared green sauce,sprinkle red chilli crushed & nimco sev & serve!
