Dahi Chawal

Ingredients:

-Chawal (Rice) boiled with salt 2 Cups

-Dahi (Yogurt) 1 & ½ Cup

-Himalayan pink salt ¼ tsp or to taste

-Ghee (Clarified butter) 3 tbs

-Chana daal (Split Bengal gram) 1 tsp

-Adrak (Ginger) crushed 1 tsp

-Lehsan (Garlic) sliced 1 clove

-Hari mirch (Green chilli) chopped 1

-Sukhi lal mirch (Dry red chillies) 2-3

-Zeera (Cumin seeds) ½ tsp

-Raidana (Mustard seeds) ½ tsp

-Curry patta (Curry leaves) 10-12

-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped handful

 

Directions:

-In a bowl,add rice,yogurt,pink salt & mix well.

-In a small frying pan,add clarified butter & let it melt.

-Add split bengal gram & fry for a minute.

-Add ginger,garlic,green chilli,green chilli & mix well.

-Add dry red chillies,cumin seeds,mustard seeds,curry leaves,mix well & fry until light golden.

-In yogurt & rice mixture,pour prepared tarka,fresh coriander & mix well.

-Serve dahi chawal with lehsuni aalo!
