Ingredients:

Prepare Chicken & Onion Filling:

-Pyaz (Onion) sliced 3-4 medium

-Boneless chicken boiled & shredded 200g

-Hari mirch (Green chilli) crushed 1 tbs

-Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 tsp

-Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed 1 tsp

-Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 tsp or to taste

-Sabut dhania (Coriander seeds) crushed 1 tbs

-Himalayan pink salt 1 tsp or to taste

-Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp

-Garam masala powder ½ tsp

-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped handful

Prepare Paratha Dough:

-Atta (Wheat flour) sifted 3 Cups

-Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) 1 tsp or to taste (optional)

-Himalayan pink salt 1 tsp or to taste

-Ghee (Clarified butter) 1 & ½ tbs

-Water 1 Cup or as required

-Ghee (Clarified butter) ½ tbs

-Ghee (Clarified butter) 1-2 tbs

 

Directions:

Prepare Chicken & Onion Filling:

-In a bowl,add onion,chicken,green chilli,ginger garlic paste,cumin seeds,red chilli powder,coriander seeds,pink salt,turmeric powder,garam masala powder,fresh coriander,mix & mash well with hands & set aside.

Prepare Paratha Dough:

-In a bowl,add wheat flour,red chilli powder,pink salt,clarified butter & mix well until it crumbles.

-Gradually add water,mix well & knead until dough is formed.

-Grease with clarified butter,cover with cling wrap & let it rest for 30 minutes.

-Knead dough again until smooth.

-Take a small dough (40g),make a ball,sprinkle dry flour & roll out with the help of rolling pin (5-6 inches).

-Make another rolled dough,add & spread prepared filling,apply water on the edges & place another rolled dough on it,press gently to seal & remove air pockets with the help of toothpick.

-Heat griddle & fry paratha with clarified butter on medium flame from both sides until golden (makes 9).

-Serve with yogurt raita.
